Yes. TEFLmasters is internationally accredited by CPD-verified and OTCAC, and we’re a UKRLP Registered Learning Provider (meaning you can see who we’re run by). All certificates include our accreditation and registration. All certificates include a QR code that links to your online transcript so employers and officials can verify it. You can also notarize and apostille our TEFL certificates for use abroad in countries like China or Vietnam.
Our courses are accredited by OTCAC, a private accreditor that also accredits courses by many other legitimate TEFL providers such as TEFL Institute of Ireland, Premier TEFL, and StudyTEFL. Our courses meet their strict benchmarks; our certificates have always been used successfully for work abroad where visas require TEFL certification.
Most students get TEFL certified through our 120‑hour TEFL course in 3–6 weeks of part‑time study. However, it’s possible to complete it in 1 week if you work on it diligently and do little else. You have 6 months to finish, and you keep lifetime access to text materials. So, in summary, it takes anywhere from 1-26 weeks to finish our online 120-hour TEFL course.
Please do not expect to finish this in a few hours – TEFLmasters is a legitimate TEFL certification provider. If you’d like a click-without-learning course, we kindly ask you to search elsewhere. No. Learning is $49 for our 120-hour course and $64 for our 168-hour course. The price includes digital PDF TEFL certificates with QR-code verification and a self-print version of the certificate also. The higher price courses ($69 and $89) represent a package with deeper practical assignments (and feedback) and the same QR verification certificates. You’ll struggle to find an accredited TEFL course cheaper elsewhere, and won’t find it this price for the high quality and practical edge. All certificates can be used for finding TEFL jobs worldwide and can be legalised. We happily verify your completed course status when asked.
Yes, TEFLmasters certificates can be apostilled and used internationally for TEFL jobs abroad. We offer notarisation and apostille services at a discounted rate through our legalisation partner: Apostille.uk.org.
Yes, our TEFL-TESOL certificates are accepted internationally. If you’re applying to a selective school or government program, however, we recommend confirming their specific requirements (for example, some may specifically request Level 5 or a supervised practicum, which we now offer! These are rare stipulations, however). We have never been contacted by one of our students to say our certification wasn’t accepted – fact. Online, we’re aware of one highly dubious website that suggests something different, but the logical question to ask is why someone would post on an unknown website (which has known ties to their own heavily-touted TEFL course) rather than post on an official site such as Trustpilot?
We’re so confident of how in-depth and superior our TEFL training is, in fact, that if ever a school refused our certification training, we’d insist that they have free access to our training course to check for themselves. We’ve seen other TEFL courses (even ones with Level 5 status) and their inadequacies in not requiring theory to be put into practice: our course goes way beyond others anywhere near us in price-point and beyond.

We all know that online courses are often generous with their interpretation for how long students need to spend studying: TEFL courses are no different. Our 120-hour TEFL course has 26 units that are each rated to take 4 to 4.5 hours if students follow the advised learning directives (watch the videos with audio and follow the text, read the text with drip questions, complete the practice quiz questions, complete the scenario learning task(s), and then the end of lesson quiz).
However, every learner is an individual, so there always has to be flexibility in the learning process, so it is possible for students to complete the course faster than 120 hours.
All courses include a digital certificate (PDF) with a transcript and an additional certificate with a QR code linking to your secure online transcript. Certificates are emailed to you within 24 hours, though it is usually within 3 hours.
