Yes, our TEFL-TESOL certificates are accepted internationally. If you’re applying to a selective school or government program, however, we recommend confirming their specific requirements (for example, some may specifically request Level 5 or a supervised practicum, which we now offer! These are rare stipulations, however).

If you purchased the 168-hour TEFL course, there are 3 courses that make up the total of 168 hours: 120-hour (follow above), 40-hour (do the same as above but for the matching 40-hour course), and 8-hour (follow the previous advice). Our admin team usually adds all course components within a few minutes, regardless. If you still have trouble, contact support and we’ll fix it fast: if you’ve paid for your course, you will receive that course, so please do not worry.

Most students complete our 120‑hour TEFL course in 3–8 weeks of part‑time study. However, it’s possible to complete it in 1 week if you work on it diligently and do little else. You have 12 months to finish, and you keep lifetime access to materials. So, in summary, it takes 1-52 weeks to finish our online TEFL course.

All courses include a digital certificate (PDF) with a transcript and an additional certificate with a QR code linking to your secure online transcript. Certificates are emailed to you within 24 hours, though it is usually within 3 hours. You can pay a bit extra to be able to self‑print our attractive premium ESL teaching certificates without losing legitimacy. We also provide guidance for notarisation or apostille if required.

Your digital purchase is protected by a 14-day moneyback guarantee, but we hope you buy our course after trying our free lessons and being serious about this academic undertaking. What we ask from you is that if you buy the course and are considering requesting a refund, you take a moment to email us with your issue and give us a chance to fix it or provide an explanation to you. Perhaps you are frustrated with a lesson flow glitch or you spot a minor error and question our quality, please consider that we would never intentionally be aware of a fault and let it exist – we make every effort to make our material premium and flawless; however, we also update quizzes often, meaning minor errors may exist. Our team checks and re-checks, but we’re only human, so you ask that you give us the benefit of the doubt. Our courses have high-end quality of learning content and full lesson videos for far less than our competitors, so we just ask that you take a moment to engage with us before any such refund requests. Unlike some other providers, we don’t refuse refund requests unless you’re outwith the 14-day period or have moved past the sixth lesson. We’re big on fairness, and we feel that this is more than fair (and is extremely positive in its interpretation of UK and EU law). Should you wish to receive a refund, we process it through the payment method you used and it is then in the hands of your bank/card-issuer: it may take 1 day or up to 10 days (average of 3 working days) to reach your account. 

A TEFL certification course is a serious academic undertaking. However, unit quizzes can be retaken as many times as needed, because they are set up to help you learn as you take them. However the midterm and final tests (also multiple-choice, but slightly more intensive), are limited to 3 re-takes each. So, while failing is especially unlikely if you cover the course content as it is intended, it is possible. In this case, we do make you re-take all units and charge a reduced course fee. No student has failed to date.

No. Learning is $99 $49 or $119 $69 for our 120-hour course and $119 $64 to $139 $89 for our 168-hour course. The lower price includes a digital PDF certificate with QR-code verification. The higher price represents a package with assignments (and feedback) and the same verification certificates. You’ll struggle to find accredited TEFL course certification cheaper elsewhere, and won’t find it this price for the high quality. All certificates can be used for finding TEFL jobs worldwide and can be legalised. We happily verify your completed course status when asked.

Yes. You can choose to add-on 24 hours of practical teaching experience after completing one of our TEFL courses (120-hour or 168-hour TEFL) or you can purchase it for a discounted rate with our 144-hour TEFL course or 192-hour TEFL course. The 24 hours of practical teaching is comprised of 6-20 hours active teaching in a classroom or online to real, live ESL student(s), 0-14 hours of live observations of ESL lessons, and 4 hours of logged self-reflection. We verify your teaching practicum and offer you support in terms of a school contact list, but we do not organise it for you.

No. Our 120-hour TEFL course covers ‘Level 3 equivalent hours’ and depth and quality of knowledge and content, and the 168‑hour course covers ‘Level 5 equivalent hours’ for depth and quality of knowledge and content, but it is not an Ofqual‑regulated Level 3 or Level 5 qualification. Most (and we’re talking more than 99% of) global employers accept accredited 120‑/168‑hour certificates without a Level 3 or Level 5 stipulation, since this is entirely a UK regulation; however, the easiest way is to check job ads to see where Ofqual is required. We are applying for a level-5 course through an Ofqual-approved certifier soon!
