1. All material on the TEFLmasters website is property of the International TEFL Group. Copying, sharing, or reproducing any of the material beyond the provided social media sharing buttons is prohibited.
2. TEFLmasters invites students over 18 years of age with moderate to fluent English proficiency to take a 120-hour TEFL course from only $99 $44 or a 168-hour TEFL course from $119 $54. This is available to all students worldwide who meet these conditions and are able to pay via secure credit card payment. Note that our base prices are always in USD($), though multiple currencies are available at checkout.
3. To take the TEFL course, students must provide valid personal information limited to first and family names, a valid email address, and full billing address. It is important that names match the student’s passport or name under which the student will apply for a TEFL job.
4. TEFLmasters may refuse to change a name that is notably different from course sign-up name and that requested to be placed on any TEFL certificate.
5. TEFLmasters has the right to refuse to certify any student suspected of completing the course for someone else, based on name differences. In this case, any money paid may be refunded and no certification will be provided. Each case will be treated individually without bias.
6. TEFLmasters is not responsible for any personal or property damages, or liability in any form incurred by any students who choose to learn to teach English via our online TEFL course. We are strictly a TEFL course provider, and you, the student, are responsible for any charges you incur for accessing this course (e.g., internet charges) and your actions while undertaking the course. 
7. The course is divided into lessons; all lessons have videos and text. Each lesson is purposefully different, but on occasion TEFLmasters may choose to re-use the same video as in a previous lesson. This is uncommon but occurs because we feel that the information is useful for multiple topics.
8. It is free to try Lessons 1, 10, and 20 without inputting any personal details, but this content and material remains the intellectual property of TEFLmasters and condition 1 (above) applies in full. All lessons must be completed in full by paying students in order to complete the 120-hour TEFL course; students must complete all lesson quizzes satisfactorily to pass – resits are allowed after feedback is given. No quizzes are available for free lessons, but these are all multiple-choice.
9. The 120-hour and 168-hour courses are paid courses (aside from free lessons) and require online access.  
10. Students enrolled, or previously enrolled, in our 120-hour TEFL course are not entitled to embossed hardcopy certification; a digital certificate is included for regular courses, while the premium bundle also provides QR-code embedding linking to a webpage to verify TEFL certification. 
11. TEFLmasters provides digital certification to all students who pass the paid ($99 $44) online TEFL course, which requires passing all unit/lesson quizzes to a satisfactory level (>75%). This is made clear to students on our website. Digital certificates consist of one PDF certificate (premium also includes a self-printable certificate and one transcript). These are emailed to successful graduates.
12. Students are allowed unlimited attempts to pass unit quizzes. The midterm and final tests allow only 3 resits each. Failure is possible, but no student has failed our courses to date.
13. Quiz results will under no circumstances be rounded-up. In other words, seventy-four point nine-nine percent (74.99%) and under is not a passing grade.
14. Lesson quiz questions all assess the unit content as presented. 
15. Once a student has paid for hardcopy certification, they have a 24-hour cooling-off period. TEFLmasters will not create, print, or send any certification documentation within this 24-hour cooling-off period. During this time, students who have paid for certification may request a full refund. After this period, no refunds are possible. We provide self-print certificates instead of hardcopy, mailed certificates for a price of $10. This aligns more with our values and these certificates are equally as legitimate as hardcopies we would send by expensive courier.
16. TEFLmasters will refund payments for online courses on request, but the refund request must be made via email within fourteen (14) days of the payment submission, and you must not have moved beyond Lesson 2 of the online course already in order to receive a full refund. The fourteen (14) day period counts as a ‘cooling-off period’. By accessing any quizzes other than the free quizzes (after lesson 1), you are deemed to have begun your course and to have acknowledged that your right to a full refund without deductions for your online TEFLmasters course is lost. Refunds given after students access these non-free quizzes are subject to incremental reductions as outlined below in term 17.
17. Refunds provided by TEFLmasters will incur set deductions from the refund total at a fixed cost of three US dollars (USD $3) per quiz accessed up to the full course total. Quizzes represent proof that a student has used the educational resources provided by TEFLmasters and is, therefore, a chargeable service. Companies are charged for refunds – we provide you with full openness about our course content via our free lessons. Our quizzes are regular multiple-choice, so it is your responsibility to check that our course format suits your learning needs. This is compliant with EU and UK law under digital goods purchases, and gives some form of fair protection to TEFLmasters for our content services. 
18. Students previously granted a refund by TEFLmasters (without having paid a refund fee), who then re-purchase our course, waive their right to a full refund and will be charged the refund charge fee (from Stripe or PayPal) on top of any or all digital usgae fees set in term 17. This is to prevent abuse of our policy.
19. All refunds must be processed through the original card used for the purchase. Any credit card processing fees are the responsibility of the refunded student, and it may not be possible to change cards due to security reasons. 
20. If, for any reason, you subsequently wish to cancel your online course after the fourteen (14) days has expired, TEFLmasters cannot provide a refund except for under exceptional circumstances. The course organizer’s decision is final. Please try out our content in the free lessons to ensure you like the delivery methods. Individual faulty technology and glitches not resolved within two (2) days constitutes an exceptional circumstance.
21. Paper certificates are offered for a fee ($15 + UPS courier), but due to excessive postage fees imposed following the Covid-19 pandemic, we have switched to a better and cheaper system of offering premium self-print certificates for just $10 more.
22. You have up to one hundred and eighty-three (183) days to complete the 120-hour or 168-hour TEFLmasters online course from the date of original sign-up. Premium courses offer three hundred and sixty-five (365) days to complete them in full. After this time, your progress may be deleted permanently.
23. If you wish to extend your online course deadline then you must contact the TEFLmasters administration before your deadline. You will be required to pay the fee of fifteen US dollars ($15 USD) to extend your course for two (2) months. This will entitle you to digital certification once you have passed the course.
24. After initial sign-up, you should receive course log-in details immediately via email, and be transferred to the course enroll page. Alternatively, simply find the course you paid for on the left side of the student area page, click, and enroll. Please keep your password secure and do not share it with others.
25. Tutor support is included with our online course. Our content is clear and understandable. You also have a world of knowledge at your fingertips on internet search engines and online libraries. However, TEFLmasters staff will happily answer your course-related inquiries and offer technical support free of charge. Under normal circumstances, we will respond to any technical inquiries within one (1) hour, but please allow up to twenty-four (24) hours (or longer during holiday periods, e.g. Chinese New Year, Christmas, etc. to accomodate our global staff taking holidays).
26. We do our utmost to ensure that you receive the best training and service possible. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service provided by us, then please let us know by emailing or through the TEFLmasters contact page.
27. Every endeavor is made to ensure that digital certificates are emailed to the successful student within two (2) working days of completion of the course. If you have not received your certificate within that period, please contact TEFLmasters for assistance. Online certificates are usually available within two (2) working days, but this process may take longer in some cases.
28. TEFLmasters are not responsible if a company or official does not accept our certification; even though our certificates have always been accepted globally since our launch in 2020, we have little control over the actions of independents. We do everything possible to ensure that our courses are professional, legitimate (e.g. through accreditation, revising material, and safeguarding against those trying to circumvent our timed system of training), and globally recognised, but no company is able to offer 100% certainty about acceptance. We cannot be held liable for future policy changes, but can reassure our trainees that our certification has been used globally without fault to date.
29. TEFLmasters does not have access to any credit card details or details of your address. 
30. Terms may change during your course, but these will never impact the price of your course, the inclusions you are entitled to, nor the quality of the content.
